This cottage located in a country lane has been flooded several times over the years due to it being lower than the road and at the bottom of a hill with the road camber leaning towards the property. The road gully you can see blocks due to leaves leaving the water flowing into the property.  We have installed a 450mm drainage chamber which can be lifted in an emergency. We have moved the linear drainage closer to the wall and in its place we have built a 4 inch wall around the property to help divert the water away. As a last result we have also installed a water pumping station incase an extra pump needs to be used If you have any forthcoming projects or would like any more information please do not hesitate to contact us on 01622 679744.
