At this project in Dover we had to remove a load bearing wall between the kitchen and living room to make it open plan. The customer requested that they wanted to achieve a flat ceiling at the end. This required us to install the RSJ steel beam into the ceiling void. By cutting back the timber floor joists and installing hangers onto the beam.
