We operate across the South East of England from our office in Maidstone Kent. We have built lasting relationships with many returning clients over the years. Our knowledge and experience is what sets us aside from many other local builders and construction companies. RJ Construction was established in 2013 at the start of our journey by two friends Robert and James. In 2019 after 6 years of continuous growth we rebranded to RJ Construction – Building Services Ltd. The pair now have over 30+ years of combined experience.
Over the last 9 years, we have completed over 250 projects across the southeast of England as shown below. We have managed to achieve over 100 Google reviews.
After 6 years of growth providing services in the domestic sector, we have diversified and continued our development into the commercial sector providing services for many companies.
MEET THE TEAM
RJ CONSTRUCTION
Our core team consists of Robert, James, Claire, Wade, Jack and Yassen. We find that keeping our team small means that we are able to provide a service where you know who you are dealing with. We think that this is important, in order to keep and maintain a good customer relationship during any work that is undertaken at your property or workplace. All of our staff are identifiable with embroidered uniforms.

Previous to establishing RJ Construction – building services Ltd, Robert completed his NVQ qualification level 2 in trowel occupations with J & W Construction where he first met James 14 years ago becoming good friends. He then worked for several bricklaying contractors including PGL brickwork as a bricklayer on several large building site gaining crucial experience
James Bullock Director
RJ CONSTRUCTION
James left full time education at the age of 16 to go straight into the construction industry working for Premiere projects for 3 years converting bathrooms into shower rooms. He then relocated to Somerset where he worked for a large construction company where he gained 2 years worth of brickwork and general building work, before moving back to Maidstone. On his return he started working for J & W construction where he stayed for 10 years becoming a team leader in building and landscaping projects.
Claire Knight Office Manager

Claire has been with the company since 2015 providing administrative support and is now our office manager. Claire generally works behind the scenes making sure everything is running smoothly for the guys on site and keeping our social media updated.

RJ Construction replaced a fence post which had been broken when hit by a car.

Rob and RJ installed a vertical and horizontal beam for me sunk into the ceiling with a big padstone in the footing.
They went above and beyond when performing the job to make sure everything was completed on time (even with unexpected … More plumbing and electrical systems in the way) Rob was working till 9 on a friday to ensure the job was completed so I could get my kitchen sorted.
They had a great system to keep everything clean and as dust free as possible. They were extremely professional and price wise very fair, coming in well under some massive quotes I received. They were also very attentive to my partners working situation (with clients in a home salon)
Honestly could have not asked for more from Rob and the team. Choosing someone to undertake the job was not something I took lightly and spoke with about 10 contractors, I immediately knew I wanted to use RJ as soon as he started speaking, and its a decision I’m incredibly relieved and happy I did
