Thank you for a great job on bricking up the lower section of our front window. Also thank you for the advice on the collapsing manhole in our rear garden , other builders were going to charge astronomical amounts to sort out. You were honest and open by advising that it would be potentially be southeast waters responsibility, which it turned out it was.. and saved us over £600.

I used Rob of RJ Con for the refurbishment of my sisters house recently, which included wiring, plastering, opening up a room by taking down a wall, flooring and more. Him and his team were great to work, did an excellent job. I would definitely use him again and would not hesitate to recommend him. Thanks again Rob

Rob and his team at RJ Construction have been fantastic throughout our project, I have already recommended them to several other people and will continue to do so. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone on site was polite and conscientious. We are planning on having more work completed with RJ Construction and look forward to our next project!

I had been having real problems following poor remediation work from drainage contractors and was looking for a company who could help. Despite Rob being on another job, he took the time to step away from the site, give me advice and guidance on what good remediation work looks like, in plain english. Due to the teams workload, though he could not help on the timescale I was looking for, he signposted me to another builder who is well versed in the works I needed carrying out.
Thankyou Rob, from experience there are few people who would of done this knowing that this was no strings, free advice.
It is for this reason, I would recommend RJ Construction for honest appraisals, and should I need work done in future, I will be coming back to them.

R J Construction have just completed an amazing update to our kitchen/dining room. From start to finish the project was managed efficiently, always keeping us updated on issues and progress. All of the team were hard working, friendly and courteous. Any problems or concerns were dealt with immediately. I can not recommend them enough and will definitely be using their services in the future.

We had Rob and the team from RJ Construction remove a load bearing wall and install a RSJ to allow for open plan kitchen dining area. Rob completed all of the necessary planning application paperwork on our behalf and liaised with the structural engineer which meant the whole process was seamless. The work was completed efficiently and to an exceptionally high standard. The end result is exactly what we wanted. Rob and the team have vast experience and are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Rob went above and beyond. We would highly recommend RJ construction and we will be using them again with future projects.

A lifeline after a nightmare — couldn't recommend more highly.

We came to RJ Construction in a really difficult position — we'd been abandoned by a previous builder partway through our extension, leaving us with substandard work that needed to be pulled back and remedied before the project could even properly begin. James, Rob and the entire team took all of that in their stride.
What we realised most was how genuine, hard working and experienced James and Rob are.
The team were on site every day, always available to answer questions, and genuinely engaged in finding solutions to help us achieve what we wanted. And when they weren't on site we could reach them by phone or message at any time.

For a project with so many added complications — undoing poor previous work, managing a large extension build, and doing all of this while we continued living in the property and needed a functioning kitchen throughout — their professionalism and communication were exceptional.
Having a local firm also meant they have relationships with local suppliers and planning and building inspector which really makes a world of difference.

This wasn't a straightforward job, and they never treated it like one. They understood the complexity and handled every challenge without fuss. If you're looking for a reliable, skilled and genuinely honest building company in Maidstone, look no further than RJ Construction.

We would not hesitate to recommend them for any project, big or small but especially if you want a high quality extension completed by a skilled and experienced team than.

You should be able to see the finished result on their website.

What an amazing team, with a strong work ethic and customer focus - we have been most impressed! From start to finish they were responsive, diligent, helpful, practical and always focused on doing a good job for us on the groundworks and connections for utilities. Would highly recommended without hesitation.
