As standard for every client, we carry out brick matches from local builders’ merchants. This means that we always do our best to find the brick that your original house was built in. If they are no longer available, we offer a choice that will complement your house.

Did you know we also build orangery extensions? An orangery usually has a glass roof lantern and less glass in the walls (than in a conservatory) this makes the room warmer during the winter so more suited to everyday living all year round.

Adding a conservatory to your house is considered to be permitted development, not needing an application for planning permission.

Porch
You will not require planning permission or building regulation approvals for your new porch if the external area is under 3m2 and not within 2 meters of any boundary which fronts a highway so it’s quick and easy to add the new space onto your property.
Conservatory
The actual build time and installation time of a conservatory takes around three weeks for a 3m x 3m 450mm high brickwork.
A bigger conservatory 3m x 6m with two full height gable walls at either end would approximately take four – five weeks for build and installation.
There is normally a waiting time between finishing the brickwork and fitting the conservatory. This is because as a company we prefer to order the upvc product once the base is complete. This ensures the product fits perfectly and in case there are any changes along the way.
PorchA porch can take anywhere between 1 – 2 weeks.
For projects of under £2000 we accept payment on completion. For projects of £2000 or above a £10% commitment to works deposit will be required and a stage payment plan detailing when the payments will be required.
